Sasha's Blog Post

Working for the past few weeks with magazine clippings and dealing with the role of viewer and the viewed I have been having trouble finding a unifying theme. So I did the logical thing and went to the trusty old Encyclopedia Britannica and eureka! I stumbled upon an article about human geography and social science in the late 2oth century.
It states that places and people have no essential truth, rather they are fluid. Constantly meaning is being ascribed on to them based on context.
I hope to seek in my work questioning that ascribed meaning by asking who has dominance in the interplay of context and decision maker? Have those decision reduced a sense of individuality to a stereotype?
